More on courage

  • Courage is a muscle, and you build it with small scary things.
  • Walk into the room like you were invited. Often you were.
  • Stay where it is easy and you will stay exactly the size you are.
  • Stand up in the meeting and say your idea out loud, even with a shaky voice.
  • Brave people feel scared too. They just carry it with them on the way in.
  • Send the message. Apply for the job. Say the thing. Fear gets smaller after you move.
